The module 1b hazard perception test requires a minimum pass mark of 67 out of 100. During this examination, you must click when you see a hazard developing.
Both tests are administered at a test centre and can be booked for the same day. Upon completion, you will receive a letter indicating whether you have passed or failed.
It is important to take these tests seriously as they are crucial steps in obtaining your PCV license. With dedication and preparation, you can confidently pass both tests and move forward with your practical training.

Case Studies Test
CPC Module 2
Case Studies Test
To become a qualified lorry driver, you must obtain a driver CPC qualification. This requires passing the module 2 case studies test, which can be taken at a test centre alongside the multiple-choice theory and hazard perception tests. Interestingly, you can take the module 2 test before passing your practical driving test.
The exam consists of several case studies that present scenarios you may encounter during your working day as a lorry driver. Each case study contains between 5-10 questions, and to pass, you must achieve a minimum score of 40 out of 50. You will have 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the questions.
Once you have passed the module 2 test and the module 4 practical demonstration test, which your training school will assist you with, you will have completed your driver CPC. This qualification will be valid for five years, allowing you to pursue a career as a professional lorry driver.
